Workhorse brushes vs. the nice one

I wrecked a Kolinsky doing a drybrush. Don’t be me. The wooden-handle synthetics in the shop photo do 90% of the work: base, glaze, drybrush, and the angry highlight on a pauldron.

Keep one small sable for eyes, gems, and 75mm skin. Wash it like it’s rent. Everything else can live in a mug.

Verdict: buy the set, protect the one good point.
